Hotshop Communications Inc is an accredited boutique advertising and marketing agency established in 1999. Our offices are on Granville Island in Vancouver, British Columbia. Our clients are diverse, as is the work we do for them.

Ron Blouin – Creative Director/President

Working in the marketing and advertising field for over 35 years, Ron uses his valuable experience to help clients reach solutions that capture the hearts and minds of the audience. His experience includes work with retail giants such as McDonald’s Restaurants, the Hudson Bay Company, Petro-Canada, Beaver Lumber and Canada Safeway. He also brings knowledge of packaged goods gained from advertisers such as Sun_Rype Juices and Jolt Cola and specialized Social Marketing skills from campaigns like the Anti-Tobacco Program for the BC Ministry of Health and the Insurance Brokers Association of BC. His pro-bono work for the Tiger Foundation, which is credited with saving wild tigers and their natural habitat, features Bryan Adams and has been seen in over 150 countries around the world.

Ron has lectured at Simon Fraser University (SFU), British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and as appeared on both CBC radio and television as an industry analyst. Most recently he has arranged a National media campaign for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, ongoing Provincial media for IBABC and local campaigns for auto-glass franchise Broco Glass.
